Important COVID-19 Updates from Shipshewana Trading Place:  (Last Updated:  09/03/2021)

The safety and well-being of our guests, customers, buyers, sellers, vendors and employees is a priority for Shipshewana Trading Place Auction & Flea Market. We have implemented plans aligning with Indiana and LaGrange County Guidance to work toward your safety through operational efforts and education.

What we are doing to minimize the spread of illness at Shipshewana Trading Place:

• Wearing a mask is not required by the state, or in LaGrange County, but are highly recommended for indoor areas where you can't socially distance.

• Cleaning Staff have and always maintained regular cleaning of restrooms and surfaces in which germs can be transmitted using proper sanitizing products.

• Our cleaning and housekeeping staff will make rounds regularly during business hours to maintain these areas especially during times when traffic is at a peak.

• When hand sanitizing materials are available, they will be provided, however, employees and visitors are encouraged to bring their own and/or wash hands frequently.

What you need to know when you plan your trip:

• If you are ill, PLEASE STAY HOME!

• If you are sick, or have been in contact with someone sick or positive for COVID within 2 weeks, PLEASE STAY HOME.

• Please maintain 6’ social distancing.

• Please respect others’ personal space and if you see a situation in which you feel uncomfortable, remove yourself.

• Please refrain from entering the office or lobby if other buyers or sellers are already checking out and only enter when 6’ social distancing is possible.

• Do NOT Touch Items for Sale, you do not intend to purchase.

• Do not touch your face. Cover your cough or sneeze. Wash hands frequently. Respectfully, we ask that you use common sense to respect others' personal space.

• When hand sanitizing materials are available, they will be provided, however, employees and visitors are encouraged to bring their own and/or wash hands frequently.

• We are highly encouraging you follow all recommended safety and prevention guidance in all of our public spaces.

ANTIQUE & MISC. AUCTIONS

• Live Weekly Antique & Misc. Auctions are on schedule each Wednesday. Now Open Wednesdays Year-Round
• Upcoming Special Sales

LIVESTOCK AUCTIONS

• Weekly Livestock Sale – Open and on schedule each Wednesday at 10 am.
• If you are ill, please stay home.
• Call Keith Lambright for questions about selling at 260-336-6008.

LIVESTOCK AUCTION BUYERS

• Livestock Auctions Now Open Wednesdays Year-Round
• Hay buyers welcome. Call-in orders also welcome at 260-768-4129.

HORSE AUCTIONS

• Regular Weekly Horse Auctions – Open and on schedule each Friday. Tack sells at 10:30 am. Horses sell at 12:30 pm

FARMSTEAD INN & CONFERENCE

• Book Your Room
  Staff is minimizing touchpoints and sanitizing high touchpoint areas. All cleaning agents are sanitizing products for the safety of our guests. Hot breakfast buffet is open and included for guests. Pool, Hot Tub, Ping Pong, Basketball and Fitness Rooms are all open. All guests are encouraged to socially distance, wash their hands often and stay home if ill.

AUCTION RESTAURANT

• Open for dine-in on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays (Call for hours.)

FLEA MARKET

• Our Seasonal Market is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays, May 4 - September 29 from 8 am - 4 pm, as well as, special extended dates throughout the season.

SWAP MEETS

• Swap Meets are on schedule and the 2021 Swap Meet Dates are: 
  April 24, 2021; May 15, 2021; June 19, 2021; August 7, 2021; September 18, 2021; and October 16, 2021

RV PARK & SERVICE CENTER

SHIP-CHIC CRAFT & VINTAGE SHOW

• 2021 Ship Chic Shows are on schedule and dates include:
  October 23, 2021 & December 4, 2021

SPECIAL EVENTS

• Shipshewana's Lights of Joy will re-open on November 19, 2021
