Flea Market Vendor Spotlight: Jennifer's Nicely Spiced Olive Oil
Once I saw the olive oil and bread samples, I knew I had to stop at this flea market booth.
This week I'm doing a photo tour of Jennifer's Nicely Spiced Oil at booth #491. Jennifer has been hand making and bottling olive oils for 14 years and has been a vendor at the Shipshewana Flea Market for almost three. She is from Plymouth, Indiana, where she grows all of the herbs used to infuse her oils and balsamic vinegar.
Jennifer offers eight different kinds of olive oil. Her favorite is the Mediterranean flavor. It is made with balsamic, olive oil, garlic, and five herbs.
"Everything is made by hand," she said.
My favorite product in her booth was the infused popcorn. She takes a jar of her spiced olive oil and adds popcorn. Then, when the popcorn pops, it absorbs the flavor from the oil...no butter needed! I can't wait to buy a jar and pop it at home.
Jennifer's Nicely Spiced Olive Oil is at booth #491 the Shipshewana Flea Market every Tuesday and Wednesday from May through the first Saturday in October, from 8 am - 5 pm. She is also online at www.jennifersnicelyspiced.com and on Facebook.
