Shipshewana Trading Place continues 100th Birthday celebration this Fall with an open house on October 12, 2022 at the regular weekly livestock & antique sale with door prize drawings and birthday treats.
Shipshewana Trading Place Auction turns 100 this year and has been celebrating with a variety of events all season. On October 12, 2022 we will be hosting an open house that will begin to wrap up the year-long celebration of a century of treasure hunting in Indiana's Amish Country.
Join us for a day to celebrate not only our tenure as a local icon in Shipshewana, Indiana, but to celebrate what makes us truly famous... our customers, shoppers, guests, sellers, vendors, staff and community!
Open House Event Schedule:
- 7-11 am - Breakfast Hours Open at Shipshewana Auction Restaurant
- 9 am - Kick Off the Day with the Start of the Antique Auction Cry in the Misc./Antique Auction Building
- 9 am - 3 pm - Special Activities througout the day:
- Cookies and Coffee served (while supplies last)
- Door Prize Drawings ($100 Gift Certificates, Tumblers, and More) every 30 Minutes
- 10 am - Kick Off the Livestock Sale in the Livestock Auction Building (takes place till approx. 6 pm)
- 12:15 pm - Special Birthday Celebration Remarks & Presentation
- 12-4 pm - Lunch Hours Open at Shipshewana Auction Restaurant
