Shipshewana Flea Market Vendor Spotlight: Lilly's Flower Cart #1068-1070
Have you entered the Shipshewana Flea Market through gate 12 lately? If yes, then you've probably seen the numerous beautiful flowers pouring out of the tent at space number 1068 to 1070.
Lilly's Flower Cart, owned by husband and wife Marty and Renee Lilly, does custom silk floral arrangements, hanging silk flower baskets, cemetery saddles, greenery, wedding flowers and succulents.
Almost 30 years ago, the Lillys ran into someone in Arizona who was a vendor at the Shipshewana flea market, so they decided to try it out for themselves. They've been here every season since.
"We used to do other weekend shows, so this market was nice because it fell on a Tuesday and Wednesday," said Renee.
After speaking with the Lillys, it was clear that the family is passionate about the silk floral business.
"We provide quality items at affordable prices. Plus, we have excellent service with our custom arrangements," she said.
Personally, I loved perusing around the booth, dreaming about what their hanging baskets might look like on the front porch of my cabin. Plus, purchasing silk flowers would be nice because:
- They stay beautiful all season.
- You don't have to water them. --- Which is awesome becaue I'm extremely lazy.
"Silk flowers are great for folks with lake cottages," said Renee.
Aside from silk flowers, Lilly's Flower Cart also has metal garden signs, chalk boards, wooden signs, fairy garden items, solar garden stakes and more.
Let's just say if you are wanting to take your garden's look from drab to fab, you must stop by this booth before the flea season ends. Right now, they are transitioning to their fall items. Yes, you heard me. Fall. Autumn is almost here, believe it or not!
Visit Lilly's Flower Cart at booth 1068-1070 at the Shipshewana Flea Market every Tuesday and Wednesday from May through the first Saturday in October. The flea market is also open on Labor Day. You can also visit their Facebook page, or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
