Flea Market Vendor Spotlight: Flagdaddy's #677-679
When I think about the 4th of July coming up next week, I think of fireworks, freedom, family and FLAGS! Which is why I decided to feature one of our Shipshewana Flea Market vendors who is the "Daddy of all Flags"...literally...he goes by the name "Flagdaddy."
Flagdaddy's is owned by Dick (AKA "Flagdaddy") and his wife Sherry. Here is a photo of the two:
"I like people, and I like fun stuff," Dick said when asked why he chooses to sell at the flea market. "Flags and tiki umbrellas are just fun to buy."
Flagdaddy's has been set up in the same spot (677-679) at the Shipshewana Flea Market for nine years. They have a HUGE display of flags, windsocks, banners, licensed flags, yard spinners, full-fiberglass tiki umbrellas, telescoping flagpoles and business flags. You really can't miss it as you walk down aisle 20....especially on a windy day.
And if you don't see a flag that you like on display, be sure to check out their huge rotating catalog of over 450 flag designs...Sherry will be happy to go get the flag you want from their trailer! You can also view their website at yourflagdaddy.com.
Visit the Flagdaddy at the Shipshewana Flea Market every Tuesday and Wednesday from May through the first Saturday in October, from 8 am - 5 pm. We'll also be open on Monday, July 4th and Labor Day from 8 am - 5 pm.
