5 Flea Market Products You Need to Stock Up On
Believe it or not, the end of summer is on it's way. [Insert gasping sobs here].
Which means you have less and less time to get to the Shipshewana Flea Market before the 2016 season ends on October 1st. HOWEVER, it also means that it's that time of year when you get to stock up on some amazing products and bargains at the market! And we get to start thinking about fall...AKA apple cider, sweaters, pumpkins, bonfires, and Fall Extravaganza!!
I had the chance to visit some of my favorite flea market booths today, and I just had to share some of the deals that you too can find. Here are 5 flea market products you need to stock up on:
1. Office Supplies
Even if you already have your school supplies shopping done for the fall, why not start planning for next year now? You just can't beat the deals on paper, legal pads, pencils, sharpies, sticky notes, envelopes, folders and so much more at the market. I took a look in booth 314 (Niki Sales), and was jumping up and down when I saw stacks of sticky notes for just $1.00. My co-workers are about to get real annoyed by how much I start using sticky notes. The booth also had boxes of envelopes for just $1.50.
2. Party Supplies
Start planning for those holiday parties and get stocked up on plates, streamers, napkins, cups, and tablecovers. At booth 285, they had awesome deals like get three stacks of plates or napkins for just $1.00. Or get 500' of streamer for $2.00. And plastic table covers were just $1.25. Of course, the party supplies come in almost every color imaginable. Even olive green.
With the season changing, you can find some great deals on t-shirts and other clothes at the flea market. For example, I found t-shirts on sale for $3.98. Shipshe Causuals (booth 1015-1017) had some great deals on shirts, tees, sweathsirts, vests and jackets.
Let's face it. If you shop the Shipshewana Flea Market without buying a pack of socks, have you really shopped the Shipshewana Flea Market at all? Haha. But really. It's the place to get a GREAT deal on socks...men's, women's, children's, diabetic, athletic, etc.
Where else can you get bags of peanut butter cups for only $1.00? Hint: you'll want to stock up on chocolate for Halloween. Don't be that house that gives the toothbrushes. (Unless you want to be, and in that case, you can find bulk deals on toothbrushes at the flea market.) I also found Hostess sancks, Skinny Popcorn, and more in booth 290 and 223.
Shop these bargains and so much more at the Shipshewana Flea Market each Tuesday & Wednesday thru October 1st. We're also open on Labor Day and Sept. 27 thru Oct. 1 for Fall Extravaganza. Plan your trip by looking up vendors in the vendor directory on our free mobile app.
