Shipshewana Flea Market 2017 Vendor Applications are now available!
Thinking about setting up a booth at the Midwest's Largest Flea Market? The 2017 Shipshewana Flea Market vendor applications are now available! Vendors love the Shipshewana Flea Market, an enormous Tuesday & Wednesday market venue, because it draws thousands of shoppers from all over the Midwest region and beyond each week. Get your application in now to secure a great location and to take advantage of early advertising opportunities for the 2017 season (May 2 - Sep 27).
Shipshewana Flea Market loves vendors with all types of merchandise (except anything that may be deemed illegal). This season, the market is especially interested in vendors who offer antiques, crafts, handmade items, repurposed goods and home decor.
Shipshewana Flea Market Vendor Overview
When: The flea market opens for the 2017 season on May 2, and will run every Tuesday and Wednesday through September. We also have extended markets for Memorial Day (May 29-31), Independence Day (Jul 3-5), and Labor Day (Sep 4-6). The flea market is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all market days. Vendor set up is on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., or on market days beginning at 6 a.m. For extended markets, early set up will be on Sunday beginning at 3 p.m.
Available Vendor Spaces:
- Permanent Space ($37 - $45 per week; $90 deposit, remaining balance due within 30 days.) Fees are paid monthly and vary based on location. There are options for renting building and Big Top Tent locations (based on availability.)
- Weekly Outdoor Space ($55 per space per week) or Daily Outdoor Space ($35 per space per day). Available on a first come, first serve basis. It may be booked in advance as long as space is available. Reserve the same space for future weeks or days by 6 p.m. of the current week or day setup. * Additional days for Extended Market dates are $20.00 per space per day in addition to the weekly rate paid.
- Featured Exhibition Area Weekly Space is available for vendors who fit specific week-to-week flea market themes (inlcuding upcycled & repurposed, antiques & collectibles, jewelry & boutique clothing, local & handmade) and wish to be featured alongside similar vendors. Contact us if you are interested or would like to learn more.
Inclusions: Outdoor spaces are approximately 25' frontage by 20' deep. Each space has one standard (20 amp/110 volt) outlet available for electricity. 30 amp service is available for an additional fee. We also provide access to free wifi. Bring your own tables/chairs.
Advertising: Our marketing team uses a mix of media (print, radio, digital, television & outdoor) to advertise the flea market, but we need your help! The application asks for your social media handles so that we can grab some photos of your work to post on our social media accounts. Full-season permanent vendors also have the opportunity for free listings in our print, digital, and mobile app vendor directories. More advertising options are available for an additional cost. To take advantage of both the free advertising and paid advertising opportunities, fill out and return the 2017 Shipshewana Flea Market Vendor Advertising Form by March 1, 2017.
