- June Weekend Market (June 20-21, 2025)
- August Weekend Market (August 1-2, 2025)

Just be sure they’re on a leash and picked up after.
How much does it cost to get in?
It is just $5 per vehicle to park on flea market grounds, Memorial Day through September. More about parking. Admission is FREE.

What products do vendors offer?
This is the Midwest’s largest flea market we’re talking about here. With 700 open-air booths, you’re bound to see anything and everything. There are lots of bargain-type flea market items as well as a HUGE variety of handmade, used, boutique, and specialty items unique to Shipshewana. You’ll also find a great selection of local plants and produce, home decor, great food and snacks and a variety of specialty items of all kinds.
Want specifics? Check out our online vendor directory.
Do vendors take credit cards?
Yes and no. About half of our flea market vendors have credit or debit card capabilities, so you’ll want to bring plenty of cash! Of course, if you forget, we have several ATMs available on site.
Is there handicap parking?
Handicap parking is available surrounding the entire perimeter of the flea market. However, if you’d like to rent an electric scooter, park or drop off near the information booth (S.R. 5 main entrance) for closest access.
Is the flea market outdoors or indoors?
The flea market is an open-air outdoor market. Come prepared for any weather! However, many of the vendors are under cover in tents or buildings, providing protection from the Indiana elements. The market grounds are all a small gravel, so plan to wear comfy walking shoes.
Do you have electric scooters available to rent?
Sure do! Visit booth #1018 by the main entrance to rent electric scooters. See rental rates.
What if it rains?
You may get wet, but the good news is the flea market stays open, rain or shine…so bring your ponchos! Many vendors are in buildings, under big top tents, or at least have canopy tents so you are able to shop under cover. So, getting from space-to-space is all you have to worry about. Other covered areas like the food courts, the Auction Restaurant and restrooms remain accessible.
Please note that while the market itself remains open, vendor turnout can vary depending on the weather. If you choose to come on a rainy day, bring your umbrella and enjoy a shopping experience with fewer crowds!
What should I bring with me?
You may consider bringing some of the following items on your visit to the flea market:
- Comfortable Shoes (Grounds are a fine gravel)
- Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen
- Umbrella or poncho (just in case)
- Cash
- Extra bags for purchases
- A cooler to keep in your trunk for cold food purchases
- Water bottle
- Wagon or shopping carts (or rent ours at space #1018)
Is there food on site?
Yes! A variety of food options are available throughout the market. Various food locations feature everything from delicious chicken and pulled pork to tasty sweets and treats. There is something for everyone.
For a traditional indoor dining experience, visit the Shipshewana Auction Restaurant located at the main entrance to the market.
