Vendor Spotlight: Create A Landscape

Post Date: Aug 02, 2017

It's time for another Shipshewana Flea Market vendor spotlight! The market has sooooo many amazing vendors, and this one I'm especially excited to feature.

Meet Nancy Nagy, who owns Create a Landscape at space 1006.

Nancy, who is from Elkhart, Indiana, has been a vendor in Shipshewana for 15 years. She sells one-of-a-kind garden art, cement benches, stepping stones, birdbaths, birdhouses and more! You've probably seen her bright and colorful unique display...It's located inside Gate 3, the aisle just after the plants and produce. (Hint, it's also right next to the smoothie place! Yum!)

Nancy creates all of the stepping stones, garden art and cement benches, using all kinds of items. She finds a lot of her glass at trade shows.  There are so many designs, and no two are the same!

"The ideas just come, and my inspiration is from God!" said Nancy.

Nancy also does customized orders. She says it is very popular for memorial gardens and weddings.

"One time, I made a bench that had hundreds of poker chips on it from a customer's collection, and another time, I made a memorial bench and put the loved one's golf clubs and golf balls in it!" said Nancy.

Here's a picture of a recent custom order. It's just so colorful and beautiful!

"You can put your own story into the garden art," said Nancy.

You have to stop by and see it for yourself. She is just so creative!
