Vendor Spotlight: A&J Treasures
Ann and Jerry Gerloski were on a waiting list for five years before they finally got a spot at the Shipshewana Flea Market back in 1998.
Now, nineteen years later, the married couple is still selling a huge variety of items at discounted prices to their favorite Shipshewana customers.
Stop in at Shipshe Flea Market Booth 180, 206-207 or 801-802, and you'll find an awesome selection of kitchen gadgets, coasters, flags, dominoes, Rada cutlery, vinyl window etchings and more. What's even better than their selection and prices, is their customer service. You won't leave Ann & Jerry's booth without a smile on your face.
"Being a vendor is an interesting job," said Ann, "You get to meet all kinds of people."
Setting up at the flea market is Ann & Jerry's retirement gig.
"We had been retired for a year and then we started on the road with weekend markets," said Jerry. "When we started at Shipshewana, we used tarps. It was a busy life."
Now, A&J Treasures has three small buildings at the flea market, so that they can leave their set up all season long.
"It's very convenient, and selling here helps fund our trips to Florida!"
Shop A&J Treasures each Tuesday and Wednesday through September at the Shipshewana Flea Market. You are sure to find something you have to take home!
