  1. What are the dates and hours of operation? Shipshewana Lights of Joy is open from mid November to December 31 each season, closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hours are 6 – 9 pm Sunday through Thursday and 6 – 10 pm Fridays and Saturdays.
  2. Where is the Lights of Joy drive-through located? It is located at 345 S. Van Buren Street in Shipshewana, IN, conveniently accessible from SR 5 in Shipshewana, IN on the Shipshewana Flea Market grounds.
  3. How long does it take to drive through the light display? On average, it takes about 45 minutes to complete the drive-through experience, once you have entered the actual lights and depending on traffic.

Fridays and Saturdays will feature some rotating light snack items like kettle corn and food trucks in the entry line for visitors to enjoy. *You may want to stop for a bite while you visit the rest of town before we open and take in the shopping and sites of downtown Shipshewana. Many drive through after picking up to-go foods (even a local pizza😉) to enjoy while driving through the display.
