When Ora M. Yoder purchased a general merchandise store in 1945, he never could have dreamed that it would become one of the most iconic stops in Shipshewana.
Now managed by Ora's grandson Andre, Yoder's Department Store combines excellent products and top-notch service to make it a must-visit on your trip to Indiana's Amish Country.

Yoder Department Store still offers service that is reminiscent of years past. You still get a “sit & fit” experience with their shoe experts. This service gets you the best fit every time and has been the foundation for which their business has continued to be proud of for nearly 75 years.
