Local Garden Foods Available at Shipshewana Trading Place
What is your favorite summer fruit or vegetable? Strawberries? Tomatoes? Cucumbers? Garden Potatoes? Green Beans?
We have great news! You can find all of these and more at the Shipshewana Flea Market Farmer's Market.
What is Shipshewana Trading Place?
Shipshewana Trading Place is home to the largest flea market in the Midwest offering unique items from almost 700 vendors.
We have been operating in some way since 1922, though today's flea market situated on 40 acres looks quite a bit different than the first small livestock auction held all those years ago. In addition to the flea market each week, we also feature year-round antique auctions every Wednesday.
Though we know you will love taking home all of your Farmer's Market goodies, we also know you will need something to eat while you are here.
So, we have a variety of food trucks and vendors conveniently located throughout the grounds so you can grab snacks, meals, drinks, and sweet treats while you are shopping.
Check Out Our Farmer's Market!
Open from May to September every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, the on-site Farmer's Market offers a one-stop-shop for all of your summer produce needs!
Located at the edge of the flea market grounds with a pick-up parking area, the Farmer's Market features seasonal produce including apples, berries, peaches, green beans, tomatoes, onions, and other in-season fruits and vegetables.
Some vendors also offer all of your favorite canned and baked goods. A selection of your favorite perennials, annuals, shrubs, and trees are also available.
