An Amish Bulk Foods Store You Must See to Believe

Post Date: Aug 08, 2017

If you're visiting Shipshewana, Indiana, you definitely need to put a trip to E&S Sales on your list of things to do. Although shopping this Amish-owned bulk foods store may not seem like a typical Amish Country vacation destination, once you enter, you will understand why this is a must-experience!

And I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Whenever I have out-of-town family or friends come to visit, I take them on a trip to E&S. It's located on State Road 5 just to the South of the Flea Market. (1265 IN-5, Shipshewana, IN 46565). My friends are always in awe of the items that are offered, and they love "brushing shoulders" with the Amish that are at the store!

E&S has unbelievable deals, a huge variety of foods and delicious baked items. The foods available at this grocery store are so unique...you'll find many items that you've never seen before.

I'm telling you, they've got everything imaginable and in hundreds of varieties! Soup mixes, rice, beans, noodles, popcorn, vegetables, fruit, meat, cheese, candy, snacks, oils, spices, jams, Amish peanut butter, and so many more foods you've never even heard of.

E&S Sales even has bulk bags of those Lucky Charms dehydrated marshmallows! Because everyone wishes they could just buy the marshmallows without having to sift through the cereal, right?

And don't miss the HUGE candy aisle. You can find gummies of all shapes and sizes...I mean...who wouldn't want to eat a gummi candy shaped like a pig, cow, fried eggs, or even chicken feet?

Check Room Availability

If you're visiting E&S Sales from out of town, be sure to pack along a cooler, and leave plenty of space in your car to take advantage of the awesome deals on bulk cheese, meats, and spices too!

You'll definitely want to stock up. Your family will thank you.

You could spend a lot of time here, (and let's face it, a lot of money). Just remember, like most Amish businesses, E&S doesn't take debit or credit cards, just checks or cash. They are also closed in the evenings and on Sundays.
