5 New Vendors You Must Check Out This Season
With flea market season upon us, it's time to round up some of the best new vendors that are here with booths at Shipshewana this summer.
Of course, we all love the vendors who come back to the flea market year after year - they've made Shipshewana what it is today and we are forever thankful! However, it's always fun to see the fresh faces that come to set up each season as well.
*Note - Vendors change from season-to-season, so be sure to check out the latest vendors in our Flea Market Directory before you make your shopping list.
1. The Purple Porch
How cute is this booth?
The Purple Porch actually houses not one, but FOUR different small businesses all selling unique handmade items!
You'll find hand the cutest-sewn tote bags made from rugs, pottery, cheesecakes (yes, CHEESECAKES), and wood crafts like wooden cutting boards and hand-turned wooden bowls.
Space Number: 493
(Near Rest Area 2)
2. River Jordan Camel Dairy
River Jordan Camel Dairy is based out of Milford, Indiana and, like their name states, they raise camels and make camel milk soap, lotion, shampoo bars, and dog shampoo!
The soaps smell AMAZING and I hear that camel's milk is really good for you and your skin.
Their booth also has a selection of stuffed animals, artisan mugs, novelty T-shirts, soap dishes and more. And...rumor has it that they might even bring their camel out to the flea market (weather permitting!)
Space Number: 322
(Near Rest Area 1 & Farmer's Market)
3. Posh Pig
It's always a treat to see more antiques and vintage items out at the flea market, so we love getting new vendors like Posh Pig!
Posh Pig features rustic, farmhouse decor, estate finds, and furniture. You'll love browsing through the antiques and interesting knick knacks at this booth. You may even see something you remember having as a child or something that was at your grandmother's house.
Space Number: 530
(Near Finer Diner Food Court)
4. Diana's Dips
If you love to eat chips and salsa (like any normal, decent human being), then you will LOVE Diana's Dips.
Diana is a new vendor here at the flea market, and she sells her famous salsas including Mild, Medium, Habanero Hot, Peach, Mango, and Pineapple. You can even sample them before you buy right at her booth!
I can't wait to use some of the salsa for my next Taco Tuesday night.
Space Number: 454
(Next to Rest Area 2)
5. OATH Handcrafts
OATH Handcrafts has some of the cutest creations for your home! I love the chalkboard signs and painted frames.
I love how all of the crafts at this booth are so bright and cheery. They would make a colorful addition to any home. Make sure you stop by their booth and welcome OATH Handcrafts to the market!
Space Number: 778
(Near The Parlor Food Court)
But wait...there's more!
There are so many other vendors at the flea market who arrive each week to set up a booth and try it out!
Make sure you shop the market this season on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8am-4pm. Or, visit during one of our special holiday or weekend markets.
