3 Things to Know About Shipshewana’s Drive-Thru Christmas Light Displays

Did you know Shipshewana is home to a Christmas Light Park with more than two million LED Christmas lights displayed in a mile-and-a-half of various holiday scenes?

Starting in mid-November, the lights transform the grounds of the Shipshewana Flea Market & RV Park into a glittering Christmas wonderland. Shipshewana's Lights of Joy provides excitement and fun to families throughout the holiday season.
Here are three things you should know about Shipshewana's Drive-thru light displays:
1. Fun for the Whole Family

There's just something so magical about lights at Christmas time! Your family will love making memories and new traditions by driving through the one and a half mile-long symphony of light scenes at Shipshewana's Lights of Joy.
Some favorite scenes include:
- Snowflake arches
- Vivacious tunnels
- Animated features of our "Dear Horse Humphrey"
- A special reindeer the kids will surely adore
Grab some hot chocolate and blankets so you can snuggle up in the car. And don't forget to tune in on your radio to the Christmas music as you go through the drive-thru experience you'll want to return for year-after-year!
2. Hours of Operation

Shipshewana's lights of joy will be open November and December during select hours. The light show opens each night of operation at 6 pm.

Admission is $20 per car. 16+ passengers and charter buses can call 888-447-4725 for pricing. Reservations are not required, but you may purchase tickets in advance or at the gate upon entry.
Lights will be set up on the grounds of the Shipshewana RV Park. Visitors will enter at the grounds of the Shipshewana Flea Market on SR 5 and drive through the 1.5 mile course of Christmas light scenes, exiting onto CR 200 N.
