10 Flea Market Items You Must Have For Your Summer Picnics
Playing host can sometimes be overwhelming. Although this list is not exhaustive, I found 10 great items at the Shipshewana Flea Market that will add to the ease and success of your next backyard get together.

1. Lawn Furniture
In my opinion, you have to start with outdoor lawn furniture. Glick’s Lawn Furniture has some great poly vinyl options including chairs and gliders. These two were so relaxed trying out these pieces and you can see how your guests would enjoy hanging out and taking in the summer evening with friends/family in these stylish and comfortable furnishings.

2. Paper Party Supplies
Party supplies are abundant at The Napkin Place. Every backyard barbecue needs paper plates, napkins, utensils, party trays and table covers. There are tons of colors and patterns to choose from and most of these are just $1 so you get all the style at bargain prices.

3. Silk Flower Centerpieces
Impress your guests with a beautiful table decoration. Plus, with silk flowers, you can use them time and time again. Southwest Enterprises has a huge assortment of silk flowers and this adorable arrangement was just calling my name! I love the warm, summer colors, the cute bucket, and the price at just $10!

4. The Perfect Grill
No picnic is complete without the delicious grilled meat. HG Distributing is busy grilling each Tuesday & Wednesday so stop by and check out what you can make at home with your own Holland Grill. If you don’t believe me, just stop by for a delicious sample. They are constantly cooking up some tasty bites for you to try before you buy. Insider Tip: If you stop by and samples are ready, don’t pass them up because believe me, they don’t last long!

5. Spatulas
Now that you have the perfect grill, you’ll need the tools to properly tend to those meats and treat them the way they should. A & J Treasures has spatulas (and other kitchen gadgets) that will make your guests happy they decided to accept your party invite!

6. Fire Rings
Stop by this booth for a custom fire ring that will complement your backyard gathering and provide you with the ability to continue your entertaining well into the summer night offering a warm and crackling fire. Pictured is Joel and a satisfied customer and although I don’t have a picture of the actual fire ring, proof point that they were all sold out is a huge testimony to his great metal work!

7. Telescoping Forks
A telescoping fork is perfect for roasting marshmallows for tasty smores and more over your campfire. Kitchen Korner has them available and at just $3.50 each, this handy tool extends to 30” but condenses back down for easy storage.

8. Bluetooth Speakers & Solar Lights

Play music from your phone on this fun speaker that is so small it won’t cause you any trouble getting it set up for any backyard gathering.
