When I think about the 4th of July coming up next week, I think of fireworks, freedom, family and FLAGS! Which is why I decided to feature one of our Shipshewana Flea Market vendors who is the “Daddy of all Flags”...literally…he is called Flagdaddy.
Yes and no. About half of our flea market vendors have credit or debit card capabilities, so you'll want to bring plenty of cash! Of course, if you forget, we have several ATMs available on site.
The Shipshewana Flea Market is open on Memorial Day! (Monday, May 30 through Wednesday, June 1st). 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (ET). Come shop the nearly 900 booths on 100 acres. Vendors offer a HUGE variety of products from fresh produce to home decor to everything in between.
Vendor set up hours are Mondays (10:00 am - 10:00 pm), and Tuesdays / Wednesdays (6:00 am - 7:45 am). On Extended Market weeks where the market is open on Monday, early setup will be on Sunday beginning at 3:00 pm. All vendors must have their space tickets at entry in order to set up. Booths are to be occupied by 7:45 am, or it will be rented as a no show space for the week.
Shoppers hunt for bargains and neat finds at the Swap Meets’ outdoor, open-air marketplace, held at Shipshewana Trading Place on select Saturdays throughout the year. Find poultry, hunting and fishing items, small animals, antiques, second-hand goods, and more.

Yes, vendors may bring your own pop-up tent or tables. Canopies or tents must be staked to the ground, including those using cement blocks at the base. For big top tent inquiries (which require a minimum 18 week space rental and additional storage fees), contact Shipshewana Tent Rental at 260-768-7485 or the Flea Market Office.
